Premiering on Sunday night, Protection stars Siobhan Finneran (Benidorm, Downton Abbey, Happy Valley) as DI Liz Nyles, an officer for the UK's Protected Persons Service. Although she's been tasked with keeping gangster-turned-informant Jimmy McLennan and his wife and daughter safe, things take a turn after the couple are murdered at a safe house.
