Barack Obama's post-presidency plans hit another snafu when Elon Musk's DOGE department canceled the lease for a storage facility in Chicago holding his presidential records. The lease is located in Hoffman Estates in the northwest of Chicago and is separate from the 9.3-acre, $830 million Obama Presidential Center in the south side, which is scheduled to open next year. The Obama President Center seems to have been jinxed from the start as it faced lawsuits, ballooning costs and construction delays.
