New leader of growing 'resistance' against Trump is revealed
As Donald Trump has swiftly shaken up the government and launched an array of initiatives to enact his MAGA mandate, Democrats have been looking for a leader. Now, one is volunteering, saying she will lead the charge pushing back against he president. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said on Monday in an interview with NPR she will be 'leading the resistance' against the 78-year-old Republican's second administration. Hochul, who explicitly said weeks ago that she will not be leading a movement against the president, has since changed her tune.
