James Van Der Beek is glad to have his daughter by his side during "tough" times. On Saturday, Jan. 25, the Dawson's Creek alum, 47, celebrated the 11th birthday of his daughter, Annabel Leah — one of his six children he shares with wife Kimberly Van Der Beek — with an emotional Instagram post, which included a heartfelt caption about her kind and empathetic nature. James shared several photos of Annabel throughout the years, including a baby photo and several selfies in which he, Kimberly and their now-11-year-old smiled and made silly faces, all while squeezing closely together.
