A five-year-old boy was killed after the hyperbaric chamber in which he was receiving oxygen therapy exploded. The unidentified child was being treated at the Oxford Center in the northern Detroit suburb of Troy when the explosion killed him instantly and started a fire. Oakland County Fire Department arrived minutes after the 911 about 8am on Friday, but the boy was already dead. His mother, who was standing near the chamber when it blew up, was also injured by the blast.
