You may be able to tell how well your brain will age based on the size of one small muscle, according to a new study. Doctors from Johns Hopkins measured the temporalis, a thin muscle that runs from the side of your skull to the jaw joint, in over 500 healthy adults. They watched them over five years to monitor for signs of dementia and found those with smaller temporalis muscles were 60 percent more likely to develop dementia.
