The boss of UnitedHealthcare has bragged to executives that the insurer is on track for record profits after CEO Brian Thompson's murder, it has been claimed. Andrew Witty, who is CEO of parent group UnitedHealth, is said to have made the boast to his fellow bosses during a recent meeting, the Wall Street Journal reported. Revenue for the year up to the end of September hit $299 billion, an increase of $22 million in a year, with an even larger number now forecast to round-off 2024.
