Jamie Foxx Shares a Personal Thank You to Everyone Who Watched His Netflix Special: 'It's Been a Hell of a Journey'

Jamie Foxx is in a grateful mood. On Monday, Dec. 9, the eve of the release of his comedy special Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was... the actor-musician-comedian, 56, posted a video to his Instagram account with what he called a "personal thank you" to fans and supporters. "Just want to jump on and say thank you to everybody that prayed," Foxx wrote in a caption. "It's a blessing to be in the position that I'm in to be able to tell you my story in my way… I hope the jokes make you laugh and I hope the story inspires you.
