A leak by the WNBA has forced its new expansion franchise in Toronto to unveil their name and logo earlier than expected. The Toronto Tempo will join the league in 2026 as its 14th franchise, becoming the first team in the WNBA to not be based in the United States. But the announcement on Thursday came much earlier than expected after the league's website leaked the name before it was unveiled.
