Dana Carvey Brings His Iconic 'Church Lady' Back to SNL, Reuniting with David Spade: 'Isn't That Special'

Dana Carvey got preachy and took viewers back to Church Chat on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live. During the Dec. 7 cold open, the Wayne's World star, 69, reprised one of his best-known SNL roles as the Church Lady and offered some stinging commentary on the year 2024, which she called "the most satanic year in history." The Church Lady also scolded a slew of sinners of the political kind during her Church Chat talk show, including President Joe Biden's recently pardoned son, Hunter Biden, played by fellow SNL alum David Spade, and controversial former Florida congressman Matt Gaetz, played by Sarah Sherman.
