Taylor Swift made history again on October 26, becoming the youngest-ever inductee into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame at 36 years old.
For the ceremony, Swift wore a burgundy floral velvet minidress by Raisa Vanessa, paired with Jimmy Choo heels and a 65-carat diamond choker.
“I’m so incredibly honored to be inducted into this sacred club, especially at this point in my life,” Swift said onstage as she accepted the honor.
What a year 2026 has been for Taylor Swift. In addition to her star-studded wedding over the summer to Travis Kelce, the singer has made history more than once this year—including at the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony. Wearing a floral velvet minidress as she accepted the honor on October 26, Swift became the youngest songwriter ever to be inducted into the prestigious group.
The “Patient Zero” singer wore a burgundy minidress by Raisa Vanessa to the ceremony, paired with crystal-embellished Jimmy Choo heels and a Leviev Divine 65-carat pear shaped diamond choker. Her glam included a pink lip and her blonde hair styled in a half-up, half-down hairstyle.

The timing of the induction into this particular songwriters hall of fame was apt—on October 24, just two days prior, Swift celebrated the milestone 20-year anniversary of her self-titled debut album, which was deeply country music-infused. A recent hit, “I Knew It, I Knew You”—an original song she wrote for Toy Story 5—took the Grammy winner back to her country music roots. When it hit No. 1 on the U.S. country radio chart in September, it was her first song to top that list in 13 years, Page Six reported.
In addition to Monday night’s honor, back in June, Swift was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, where she also, at 36 years old, became the youngest woman ever to receive that honor. (Stevie Wonder still holds the record as the youngest inductee after receiving the honor at age 32 in 1983, per People.)
News of Swift’s induction into the Nashville hall of fame came out in August, and at that time, Swift said in a statement (per Elle), “From the time I started writing songs as a child, I fixated on Nashville as the perfect place to be.”

“I wanted to learn with and from the best and get to immerse myself in a community of storytellers, and thankfully Nashville turned out to be exactly what I’d dreamed of,” she added.
On Monday evening, Swift took to the stage to accept the award, nodding to her first record’s 20-year anniversary. “I’ve been very fortunate I’ve gotten to genre hop and travel the world and write with so many different people and in so many different ways,” Swift said from the stage. “And the only reason that I’ve been able to have that kind of dexterity in my creative process is because of the fundamentals and the foundation that I learned here in Nashville.”

“I’m so incredibly honored to be inducted into this sacred club, especially at this point in my life,” she continued. Swift added, “I started writing songs when I was a little kid, and I knew from the time I wrote my first song that, even if it couldn’t be my career, it would be my passion. It would be what I centered my entire life around.”

“Nashville is the place that I went to in my middle school daydreams,” she said. “It was the place where all the wisdom that I wished to acquire existed in one place. All the lessons that I wished to learn existed in this magical place for me. And it ended up being all of that and more. It ended up being everything.”
