Dua Lipa went for the nude illusion in a Chanel skirt suit at the WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards. On October 29, she attended the star-studded event at The Museum of Modern Art in New York. Her ensemble was the perfect blend of texture and rich proportion.

At the 2026 WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards, Dua Lipa stole the spotlight in an outfit from Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2026 Couture collection. Crafted from heavily textured, multi-dimensional tweed, the two-piece set featured a jacket and a midi skirt.
The pale yellow base created a naked-skin illusion. Raised looped yarns in shades of grey and ivory formed botanical patterns throughout. Delicate fringe and scattered beaded accents also adorned the fabric.
The jacket featured structured, padded shoulders, a classic crew neckline, and long, straight sleeves. It fastened down the center front with a row of ornate, jewel-encrusted round buttons with concentric metallic and gemstone details.
Further, the high neckline and cuffs ended in thick, shaggy black feather-like fringe trim interwoven with rare flashes of purple.
The matching skirt fell in a clean, knee-length pencil silhouette. Both the jacket and the skirt hems finished with dangling beaded fringe elements that added subtle movement. A vintage-inspired, safety-pin-style brooch encrusted with faux pearls and dangling metallic chains was pinned to the left chest panel of the jacket.
Styled by Lorenzo Posocco, Lipa paired the skirt suit with classic pointed-toe black satin pumps. The dark color mirrored the trim on her outfit while elongating her frame. Pearl-beaded anklets hugged one ankle. Meanwhile, a wide-brimmed, sculptural headpiece built from frayed black straw and wispy feather tendrils sat atop her head.
The “Dance the Night” singer’s beauty styling leaned into a warm aesthetic, with a terracotta blush blended high across the cheekbones. Bronze eyeshadow, tightlined dark liner, and fluttery lashes framed her eyes. A satin nude lip completed her look.
