The Atlanta Dream survived the win-or-go-home Game 6 against the Golden State Valkyries in the 2026 WNBA Finals.
Star forward Angel Reese contributed 15 points to the 80-69 win, but she had a somewhat off-shooting night.
Despite that, many have praised Reese for her overall performance in the series and want her to win the Finals MVP if the Dream seal the deal in Game 7.
One X user, 'Jacobtheclipper' doesn't share the same enthusiasm about Reese's WNBA Finals performance as others.
So much so that the LA Clippers fan, also known for consistently downplaying NBA superstar LeBron James, gave a brutal reality check to the Reese fanbase.
"LOL Angel Reese shot 5/18 (27.8%) from the field and had 6 turnovers. Got carried, and her fanboys are running victory laps like she did something," the fan wrote on X .
They added, "Never seen a player s___ at everything on the court except rebounds and still get praised so much."
For what it's worth, Reese did struggle to shoot well in Game 6, and she had six turnovers, combined with five personal fouls as well. Despite that, the Dream registered a comfortable 11-point win over the Valkyries.
A key reason behind that was Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray combining for 44 points. But the way that the Clippers fan called Reese out will certainly lead to some major backlash from her fanbase.
At the time of writing, the X post already has more than 300 comments, and most have brutally called out the Clippers fan.
