Tara Calico was 19 when she vanished on September 20, 1988, while on a bike ride she took frequently near her home in Valencia County, New Mexico. Tara's mother Patty Doel would usually join the teen on her 36-mile journey, but on this day she rode her mother's bicycle, a neon pink Huffy bike, as her own was damaged.
