Macy's announces store is shutting down for good in a matter of DAYS
Macy's is shutting another of its iconic department stores after more than fifty years. The Sunrise Mall store in Massapequa on Long Island will close its doors for the last time on April 11, according to New York State Department of Labor filings. The struggling chain is also in the process of closing a further two locations on Long Island, the Macy's at Lake Success Shopping Center in New Hyde Park and Melville Mall in Huntington Station.
