An urgent recall has been issued over a popular sinus drug for containing bacteria that could potentially kill. New York-based Ascent Consumer Products Inc. is voluntarily recalling its SinuCleanse Soft Tip Squeeze Bottle Nasal Wash System, which is sold nationwide at stores including Walgreens and CVS. Lab tests confirmed lots of the popular medication contains the staphylococcus aureus bacteria, which could cause a range of health complications. Most of the time, these bacteria cause no problems or cause relatively minor skin infections.
