New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers was arrested Saturday morning after allegedly strangling and assaulting someone with a deadly weapon, before cops found cocaine at his property. Braintree Police Department announced details of the arrest on Monday morning, following an altercation between two people at a home, which led to cops being called. Peppers, who is the Patriots' starting safety and one of the team's captains, is expected to be charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a deadly weapon, strangulation, and possession of a Class B drug that police believe was cocaine.
